Our Principal

Dennis Buster is a consultant and business owner with more than 25 years of successful Human Resource leadership and consulting experience.  He has served as the chief Human Resources executive for or has consulted with a variety of domestic and global enterprises in industries as diverse as 3D printing, e-commerce, manufacturing, telecommunications, technology, transportation, civil construction, water supply treatment, residential and commercial mortgage, real estate investment, property management and life-essential services. Dennis provides expert advice and hands-on service in areas such as Merger & Acquisition Planning & Integration, Organizational Design, Succession Planning, Talent Acquisition, Public Policy Compliance, Workplace Investigations, Employee Relations, Expert Witness Consulting and Testimony, Labor Relations & Collective Bargaining, Dispute Resolution, Compensation, Employee Benefits, Retirement Plan Design & Administration, Performance Management and other areas.

Dennis’ practice today focuses principally on organizations with 50-500 California-based employees, as well as larger national businesses with California branches or divisions.  Dennis believes, “These organizations face major league Human Resources issues, but generally don’t have the major league Human Resources talent that can either proactively chart the safe course to avoid them or most effectively address them when they do arise.”

Dennis received a B.S. from California State University, Long Beach and an MBA from the Graziadio School of Business & Management at Pepperdine University.  He has been a faculty member within the California State University system and is currently on the faculty of Brandman University.  Dennis has earned professional certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR-SCP), as well as SPHR-CA and SHRM-SCP, and currently teaches courses preparing Human Resources professionals to take the national certification exams leading to these prestigious and coveted certifications.

Dennis is a member of the National Human Resources Association (NHRA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has served as Vice President of Education and President-Elect for Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), the largest SHRM chapter in the world.
